Meet the Webmaster!

Hello, my name is Charles H. Dudley, I am the webmaster for this site and several other web sites.
I go by Dudley, that is what all my family and friends call me. My wife sometimes has other names for me, when, in really rare cases, I'm not the perfect husband but, lets not get into those names, I want to keep this a family oriented web site.
I'm a retired Deputy Sheriff, formerly with the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office and a former police officer for the City of Morris, both located in Eastern Oklahoma.
In September of 2000, I moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and then, shortly after moving to Tuscaloosa, was forced to retire due to my health. So, now I have a lot of time on my hands and was in need of something to do. After awhile of trying to find something I liked doing, I discovered the art of building web sites, and now, it is a hobby of mine.
I have placed several other sites on the web so, after you visit this site, I would like to invite you to visit my other web sites, as well. Just click-on the link below.
I hope you enjoy visiting The Oklahoma Lawman web site, and if you have any comments, suggestion, and/or complaints, Please, let me know! You may go to the guest book page and leave any comments there, or you may e-mail me, just click-on the e-mail link at the bottom of this page, and also mention if you want to be notified of any site updates.
Before you leave, please read today's Bible verses. They just may make you feel a little better.
Thank you for visiting The Oklahoma Lawman web site, so-long and take care.
Dudley

Bible Verses of the Day!

But now, O LORD, You are our Father,
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all of us are the work of Your hand.

Do not be angry beyond measure, O LORD,
Nor remember iniquity forever;
Behold, look now, all of us are Your people.

Isaiah 64:8,9 NASB

-------------

Woe to those who go to great depths
to hide their plans from the LORD ,
who do their work in darkness and think,
"Who sees us? Who will know?"

You turn things upside down,
as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!
Shall what is formed say to him who formed it,
"He did not make me"?
Can the pot say of the potter,
"He knows nothing"?

Isaiah 29:15,16 NIV

-------------

Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us,
and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of
his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts
with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Psalm 100:3,4 KJV

-------------

So we, Your people and sheep of Your pasture,
Will give You thanks forever;
We will show forth Your praise to all generations.

Psalm 79:13 NKJV

-------------

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.
The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this
is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and
gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:17,18 ESV

Holiness

Text: 1 Peter 1 15-16: (15)

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation, (16) Because it is written. Be ye holy; for I am holy. Holiness – The condition of being holy. Holy – Set apart for religious use; connected with God.

Let’s take a look at the music scale Do, Re, Me, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do and see how we can be holy in everyday living.

Do – Do not worry over things that may never happen, and even if they happen, worry will not help. Do count your blessings before you count cares.

Re – Radiate good will and a spirit of wanting to do good. Like laughter, it makes yourself, as well as others, feel better.

Me – Mete kindness, understanding, tolerance, and forgiveness generously. You reape as you mete. Mete – To deal out according to what is deserved.

Fa – Far reaching are the therapeutic benefits of spiritual thinking. You become as you think. Resentment, hatred, spite, envy, and vengeance pack radioactive fall out that gnaws at you vitals. They are self-consuming.

So – Sow the seeds of love, friendship, empathy, and helpfulness. These hardy seeds take root in the crustiest ground.

La – Laugh at yourself now and then. You who can laugh at yourself are less apt to be at war with yourself. Laugh at yourself, even if you don’t feel like laughing.

Ti – Teach yourself awareness and appreciation of all the wonders of nature. Thank God daily for the precious gift of life. Genuine gratitude and discontent are never found together.

Do – Do not expect someone else to open the door to happiness for you. You must do it yourself. You alone have the key. Turn it.
